For the 12th consecutive year, the Toyota Camry will be the most popular car in the United States. That’s because, despite some intense competition in the mid-size sedan market, Toyota is still set to sell 400,000 Camrys this year.
“(Camry) will probably be the only car that sells over 400,000,” said Bill Fay, general manager of the Toyota division. “We are very comfortable and happy with our results for the year.”
It isn’t just the Camry that is having a good year for Toyota. Overall, Toyota’s U.S. sales are up 8% this year (compared to 2012) and total sales of more than 2.25 million cars and trucks are expected.
With Toyotathon going on currently, it’s a great time to get behind the wheel of a new Camry, or any other vehicle for that matter. Visit Germain Toyota of Columbus today for a test drive.
